Cook with Me: Chinese Takeout (Lazy Vegan Recipes)

I filmed myself making dinner a few weeks back. 🙂 These aren’t particularly gourmet/authentic recipes, but this is a realistic look at how I cook on most days.

//Crispy Breaded Cauliflower
1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup unsweetened plant milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (more as needed)

Combine flour, water, milk and seasonings into medium-consistency batter. Dip cauliflower florets into batter, then toss with breadcrumbs to coat. Bake on a lined baking tray at 450 degrees for 40 minutes or until evenly golden brown, flipping halfway.

//Sesame Dressing
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp minced ginger
2 TBSP rice vinegar
1-2 tsps soy sauce
1 tsp brown sugar, agave, maple syrup etc.
1 tsp chili paste
2 tsp sesame oil
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
